  • July 12, 2015 – Meeting with ‘Bradford Talking Magazines’ – an organization which represents views of disabled citizens on various community and policing matters. Provided the opportunity to obtain contacts for further end-user groups and plans to meet with more people to obtain feedback from a disabled end-user perspective.
  • July 8, 2015 – Open Source Conference at the Italian National Fire Corps in Rome and co-hosted by the Athena, Emergent, and ePOOLICE projects. Dissemination event focused on the use of open source information, big data, crisis management and social media with around 200 delegates including members of the European Commission, responder agencies, academics and governmental figures from across the EU with a number of other project participants.
  • July 6-9, 2015 – Conference paper for Information Fusion 2015 forum in Washington, D.C. The paper is about tracking of object which will be used in the Athena project for SAR applications.
  • June 25-26, 2015 – Launch event of European project UNITY; included ATHENA in presentation. Audience included partners, end users, and law enforcement representatives.
